About the Item
A French neoclassical style table dining table. This vintage table from France has an oval-shape with an oval inlay adorning its top. Brass trim outlines the top edge as well as the clean lines of the skirt about the perimeter. Diamond shaped inlays with petite brass medallions are found at each knee. The table is raised upon four hexagonal carved legs, with brass accents at their tops, and tapering gently and terminating into brass feet. There is a single leaf that can be added to allow for a larger size. Note that the leaf has a slightly different color difference in the wood from the rest of the top; this can be seen in more detail in the additional images (and may not be noticeable when the table is set). Table width with the addition of the leaf is 78" wide. And leg clearance from underside of apron to floor is 24.5" in height. This French Neoclassic style table would make a wonderful small dining option, with the adaptability of seating more for parties or during the holidays.
