French Style Trestle Dining Table in Reclaimed Walnut Available in Any Size
About the Item
About 25-years ago we began purchasing Country French trestle dining tables from Perpignan, France which is very close to the Spanish border. They referred to their style dining tables as Catalonia, which is the area of Spain right across the border from France. Their French and Spanish inspired dining tables, were traditionally trestle and were always constructed of old timber, that they would allow to air-dry for a minimum of 9-years. When they closed their doors, we were able to purchase some of their aged walnut and white oak and we still continue to buy reclaimed lumber from France and wherever quality woods can be sourced. The table we are offering in this 1stdibs listing, was made in our Chicago workshop from reclaimed walnut and is one of their classic models. Available with or without decoration and of course in any dimension or color.
