Listed for sale is a stunning custom contract stone desk/conference/dining table in exceptionally nice condition. The top has some light wear and was used as an executive desk. See photos for condition.
List price on this piece is $8-10k.
This example is made from a stunning green granite. It is reminiscent of the rectangular Florence Knoll marble/granite top tables, however, this is actually more solid, in that the base is custom made and welded in its entirety rather than fastened. The details were all hand polished and beautifully done.
The table was ordered by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Architects (SOM) for a law firm in Manhattan during a large-scale re-design of the office.
Note the table base is in great shape shape with average wear. See photos for reference. The table has a small corner chip as well as repair, which was professionally redone.
