Harrods Oak Dining Room Suite Table & 10 Chairs with Sideboard

About the Item

An extremely rare opportunity to own a complete suite of high quality solid oak Jacobean style dining room furniture sold by Harrods (see attached invoice) in July 1998 for the sum of £16,436. The entire suite is in superb condition as it was only used a few times per year, as the owners had a large table in their kitchen and the table was covered when not in use. The suite was made by the Royal Oak Furniture Company in England exclusively for Harrods. The Set comprises the following: Refectory dining table, in solid oak. This wonderful traditional solid oak table has cup and cover legs, hand carved with icanthus leaf design, and the table skirt has been hand carved with lunettes and the trade mark rose. A set of 10 high backed solid oak chairs comprising 8 chairs and 2 armchairs, the upholstery in excellent unmarked condition. These chairs have coil sprung seats for extra comfort, and have been hand studded all round. A solid oak sideboard with four drawers over four cupboards. Measurements: Table: 80 cm high x 275 cm long x 122 cm wide Chairs: Chair : H 109 cm x W 50 cm x D 47 cm Armchair : H 109 cm x W 60 cm x D 50 cm Sideboard: H 85 cm x W 199 cm x D 45 cm Condition: The whole suite is in fantastic condition, with no damage. The whole suite is made from solid oak, including the back of the sideboard and the drawer linings. This suite well last for generations more.
