Dining table, wenge, steel, Belgium, circa 1960
This Belgium table features a hexagonal tabletop on a metal pedestal. The black pedestal consists out of a slim round base standing on three legs. With the veneered tabletop and the striped pattern the top gets a geometrical aspect but also the wooden grains add a highly natural appearance. The veneer is frames by a monochrome frame highlighting the polygonal shape.
