  • Vintage White Laminate Custom Parsons Style Rectangle Dining Table
    By (after) Jean Michel Frank
    Located in Topeka, KS
Stunning vintage white laminate custom made Parson’s style rectangle dining table. Gorgeous condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The table has small flaws aka tiny chips on two of their corners that we have repaired. And it has small hairline cracks in the laminate on the sides of each leg where they meet the top. These small imperfections do not detract from the beauty or stability. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century. WOW! Parson’s tables are SO attractive!! And we have a striking custom-made white laminate dining Parson’s style tables to offer to you! Such a timeless, classic design that dates to 1930 when French designer Jean-Michael Frank decided he was going to design a table that was simple enough that it could fit into any home regardless of style preference. Contemporary, Art Deco, Bauhaus, Hollywood Regency, Industrial, traditional, mid-century modern, or modern, Parson’s style tables just work! They almost take on whatever style you put them with. And talk about durability! It is comprised of all white laminate so when the grandkids are over you won’t have to worry, and you don’t have to sacrifice style for stamina! What a plus! AND, it can beautifully host any type of dining chairs you place around them. This table just has endless appeal. The original Parson’s table was designed in New York City at the Parson’s School of Design by French designer Jean-Michael Frank in the 1930’s. There is an article that states, "Frank challenged students to design a table so basic that it would retain its integrity whether sheathed in gold leaf, mica, parchment, split straw or painted burlap, or even left robustly unvarnished. What grew out of Frank's sketches and the students' participation was initially called the T-square table. Parsons tables are often intended for use as modern or contemporary furniture, and their striking design has made them popular as coffee tables, dining tables, side tables, and occasional tables. Durability, Versatility, and it looks Dynamic!! What are you waiting for?? Make this white Parson’s dining table...

    Located in Topeka, KS
Gorgeous modern oak veneer large trestle style dining or conference table with bullnose edge top and slab style legs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. We have noticed a few minor nicks and dings on the top and along the edges. The top also has an overall raised grain texture. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century. This is a TITANIC of a table!!! Lol… It’s super large!! It is comprised of gorgeous oak veneer with solid oak applied to both ends… kind of a modified trestle style dining table with slab legs, and beautiful bullnose edge on said top and legs. The added solid oak ends are separated from the veneered top by a narrow-blackened groove which sets this detail off nicely. It is absolutely stunning!! It is a colossal 96 inches long and seats eight comfortably, but you may fit ten if the chairs are a bit narrower or you straddle the legs. The legs are recessed 6.5 inches, so straddling is not a large obstacle. In addition, although the natural oak is beautiful, we can also see this being ebonized with a little black dye. Incredible!!! It will be fabulous in your dining room or as a lovely conference table at the office! It is modern in style, but it will host oodles of options of dining or office chairs! We have LOTS of chairs...

  • Alain Delon Travertine, Brass and Gold Dining Table, France, 1980s
By Maison Jansen, Roche Bobois, Alain Delon
    Located in Amsterdam, NL
High-end travertine, brass and gold plated metal dining table by Alain Delon. An impressive dining table made of the most beautiful travertine with a cross shaped brass inlay. The table rests on a gold plated metal base. It has place for six dining chairs, but additionally two extra chairs could be placed at the table ends. We received this dining table from the first owner who bought it new at Roche Bobois in the first half of the 1980s. The former owner told us he bought it as an Alain Delon dining table. We examined other designs by Alain Delon and are convinced by his story. The table has the same geometric shapes like the backgammon table by Alian Delon. It is all high quality and luxurious design. The table is in very good condition with only some traces of use consistent with age and use. This is an unique, hard to get and very high end dining table...
