Italian Post Modern Dining Table by Oscar Dell Arredamento for Miniforms c 1970s
About the Item
Voguish, chic and stylish dining table, designed by Oscar Dell Arredamento, made in Italy for Miniforms, circa 1970's. The table features a classic geometric postmodern marquetry inlay top of burl, elm, and ash veneers on a dramatic high gloss top with an exaggerated beveled edge, set on bold thick cylinder legs. One interesting thought out design feature of this table exhibits is the legs are set in towards the center of the top, allowing more leg room - always a plus when dining.
The table includes a leaf which allows it to extended from 73.5 to 93.25 W inches. This example is in good original, vintage condition showing minor imperfections as follows. Minor but visible bruise to veneer top along one edge ( see images ) and inconsequential re-gluing of black laminate at base of one leg. Solid, sturdy, clean ready to use condition, nice usable size, lots of style.
