This stunning large ceruse oak dining or library table, sourced in France circa the 1940s, combines elegance and history in a singular piece of furniture. The table features two intricately carved scrolled bases with an escutcheon in the center, elegantly connected by a detailed trestle base, showcasing expert craftsmanship from the period.
The thick ceruse parquetry top retains its original finish, offering a rich, warm patina that beautifully complements the solid oak construction. The natural grain of the wood enhances the table’s authenticity, while the years of use have contributed to its impeccable patina, adding depth and charm to the piece.
