Large Continental Italian Neoclassical Style Marble Column Table
About the Item
A stunning and most impressive Continental, likely Italian, rouge and Carrera marble column table. Born in the 19th century, finished in Neo-classical taste, having a long rectangular top inset with three rouge red with dramatic white veining marble panels, rising on architectural turned column marble supports terminating in rouge marble block base feet.
A superb example of functional art, exceptionally executed, this rare, custom one-of-a-kind European antique is sure to add a touch of luxurious elegance and sophistication to any space.
Having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a dining table, centre or library table, writing desk, monumental console or placed in the foyer as a stunning entry statement piece!
