About the Item
An impressive late 19th century Spanish Baroque style trestle dining table handcrafted of solid walnut near Barcelona, circa 1890s. Having a thick two-board top with a wonderful rich color and deep lustrous patination, this antique Spanish dining table is supported by two carved Baroque style lyre-shaped legs joined by a forged iron center stretcher. Measuring just over 13-feet long, this monumental table, designed for a grand room, will seat 12 to 14 very comfortably. Whether you're enjoying a family dinner or hosting a large gathering or event, your family and guests will feel welcome and comfortable seated around this beautiful dining table. With thick and sturdy timbers that can withstand daily use by a busy family, this table was built to last many more generations. Suitable as a dining table or conference table. The beautiful patina along with the stature of this impressive piece, would add a spectacular presence to any room.
