Stunning vintage racetrack oval shaped natural rattan sheaf of wheat dining table with racetrack oval glass top in the style of McGuire. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections, circa, late 20th century.
Here it is!! Just what you were looking for. A marvelous vintage racetrack oval sheaf of wheat dining table in the style of McGuire. The oval base is comprised of natural rattan reed poles that are cinched together in the middle with a heavy braid of rattan and the top surface is comprised of a series of those rattan reeds which are sheared off in various circular sizes. It creates a very textural and interesting surface under the beautiful oval glass top. The glass top is an elongated octagon shape or a rectangle with angled corners and beautiful, beveled edges.
