Crafted circa 1970 using 18th- and 19th-century reclaimed timber, the six-foot table features a thick circular top decorated with geometric parquetry in walnut, burl wood, and acacia, centered by an inlaid two-tone star motif. The top rests on a robust pedestal base composed of four hand-turned baluster columns joined by a cross-shaped plinth with scroll-carved feet, ensuring both strength and visual balance. The fruitwood surface showcases a beautifully aged, richly grained patina with natural distressing and warm coloration acquired through time. In excellent condition commensurate with age and use, this substantial table comfortably seats eight to ten guests and would anchor a formal dining room or large breakfast area with authentic French character and timeless appeal.
