Modern Italian Exetendible Table with Supermarble Top and Lacquered Metal Frame
About the Item
Designed by Pocci&Dondoli, this table is characterized by a harmonious twist of sinuous arches, that outlines its unique base. The round top and butterfly leaf extension are made up of the unique material SuperMarble, which is composed of 6mm of ceramic and 12 mm of glass fused together in a state-of-the-art manufacturing process. It is a material created combining Glass and Porcelain Stoneware (mixture of clays and precious raw materials, obtained through an artisan process). Its features are: resistance to solvents, detergents, scratches and abrasion. Its properties remain unaltered even with intensive use and frequent cleaning. It is also resistant to temperature variations, to UV rays - which allows the color duration over time - and it is hygienic, antibacterial and easy to clean. The frame is in Natural Silver lacquered metal, which is one of the special Bontempi finishes, a selection of fine shades, from a secret Bontempi Casa formulation. They are made manually through multiple coats of paint, for a major color depth and richness of shades. A final protective layer guarantees color long lasting.
The table closed is 49" round and when expanded the oval shape is 69" x 49". The synchronized movement of tops allows the table to be expanded effortless. The self-storing butterfly leaf is manually positioned to create 2 additional place settings. The Bontempi Collection is 100% Made in Italy. Bontempi is located in Camerano a village nested on the Adriatic Seaside.
