About the Item
This dining table in our new dining table or console table series is called the "Ellen" table, and it is hand made with solid Walnut legs and rails, and is complemented by a richly figured matching Walnut veneer panel in the center of each table. In this series, we have created three tables that incorporate all mitered corners, and blend two complementary geometries. The introduction of a faceted edge in the rail profile and multiple facets in the leg profile create a dynamic corner to this table that provides lightness, shadow, and a sensuous asymmetrical quality to the table. This square version of the table sits four people comfortably for dinner, or in a conference room, and the larger rectangular version will seat 8 people for dinner or in a conference room as well. The console table version in this series shares the same details, and is a natural choice in an entry hall, or as a sofa table, and it works well as a buffet table in the dining room. All tables rest on wool felt feet.

STUDIODIPAOLO
StudioDiPaolo was founded in 2015, and our design studio and fabrication facility are located in Oakland, CA. We design and build a collection of modern minimalist wood tables utilizing beautiful, carefully selected and locally sourced FSC certified wood in both solid stock and veneer panels. Our efforts to select materials with consistent color and grain enables us to compose the appearance of each piece and careful grain-matching of the wood is a further opportunity to enhance the visual continuity of each piece. We incorporate brushed stainless steel, and powder coated steel components into a number of the pieces in our collection, and all of our pieces are protected with durable and environmentally responsible finishes. Our commitment to minimalist design principles, elegant proportions and fine craftsmanship informs the pieces we make, and we make them to last a lifetime.
Customers can choose this dining table in 3 wood options and in 2 sizes. Wood options: Walnut, White Oak, and Sapele. Size options: 42.5" x 42.5" x 29.75" high, and 42.5" x 80.5" x 29.75" high.
