About the Item
Named after standing stones, typically dating from the European middle Bronze Age and found at archaeological sites solely as monoliths, or as part of a group of similar stones with complex ideological and religious significance. Our inspiration is further influenced by Barbara Hepworth’s later interpretations of these ancient abstract forms.
Made of three hand carved interlocking sections of sustainable solid hardwood, shown here in our ‘dead flat’ ebonised finish. Offered in bespoke sizes and range of other materials and finishes including marble, travertine, steel and our textured studio finish.
