Oval-Shaped Dining Table on Fluted & Tapering Legs, Custom Painted Finish
About the Item
An American oval shaped carved and painted wood dining table from the late 20th century. This vintage table from American furniture makers Kindel Furniture (Grand Rapids, MI) is oval-shaped and has been designed with French inspiration with the apron nicely carved and outlined in a lambs tongue and petite bead trim, and having framed flower heads atop each knee. It is raised on four turned and fluted legs that gently taper towards their feet. The table has three leaves which allows for versatility in function. Please note however that the leaves aren't quite a perfect fit, so we recommend their use be limited to occasional needs. Each leaf adds 16 inches to the width. The custom finish is primarily taupe with charcoal trim accents. This French style oval dining table is approximately 5.5 feet in width.
