Portuguesa com Certeza Table by Marcio Kogan – Hand-Painted Tile & Metal Table

About the Item

Designed by Marcio Kogan, the Portuguesa com Certeza table is a limited-edition table that fuses Brazilian modernism with the rich heritage of Portuguese tile craftsmanship. The idea originated from a custom table Kogan created during his office renovation—an outdoor centerpiece that quickly became a favorite for its charm, usability, and striking presence. A visit to Portugal inspired a refined version of the concept. Captivated by the monumental tile murals of the São Bento Railway Station and the legacy of the Viúva Lamego tile factory, active since 1849, Kogan set out to reinterpret this tradition through the lens of contemporary design. Combining hand-painted artisanal tiles with a sleek, minimal metal frame, the table brings warmth, culture, and refined craftsmanship to any space. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it’s a poetic celebration of material beauty and timeless design sensibility.
