About the Item
Based on a 1970s design by the now-defunct Mexican manufacturer IDEA, this re-issue elevates the IDEA Metal Wood Slat and Marble table to new heights while preserving its intricate wood appliques, a challenge we gladly embraced. Reproduced in our Jalisco workshop with skilled carpenters from Guadalajara and exquisite Queretaro gray marble finished in Puebla, this revival was a collaborative effort spanning different Mexican states. Accommodating 8 guests comfortably, this contemporary piece is perfect for gatherings. Every step of crafting this table has been a labor of love, and we take pride in reviving this remarkable design.
All our production pieces are crafted in small workshops across Mexico, creating opportunities for numerous families and individuals to improve their livelihoods. Due to this process, variations exist from piece to piece, as we don't use molds or machines for mass production. This results in each piece being truly unique, with its own distinct character, making them all the more human in our view.
