Rectangular BIG IRONY Dining Table by Maurizio Peregalli for Zeus
About the Item
Designed in 2000, Maurizio Peregalli's Big Irony series of products for Zeus are constructed from unpainted phosphatized sheet steel. The surface irregularity of the steel material will stain over time from daily use to create patina that renders the piece even more beautiful. This rectangular steel frame and top is oxidized to stress the irregular black surfaces and characteristics of the raw material and then finished with a beeswax finish. This is the medium size of this shape from the Big Irony series.
In very good vintage condition with minimimal wear. A few marks on the top consisitent with the manufacturer's intention for irregularity.
