This antique table from Sweden has an overall oval-shaped top (with straight edges at each longer side) which is supported by trestle end supports, and canted wood stretchers down it's underside-center. This table retains it's original red "falu" or "falun" paint, a historical color of Swedish furniture, originating from the various copper mines in the region, most notable the mine at Falun, in the province of Dalarna.
