Rood is a dining table composed like a sentence — clear direct and rhythmic. Its construction brings together marble walnut and brass in a conversation between strength and warmth permanence and light. The name Rood which echoes with poetic simplicity matches the table’s restrained yet intentional design.
The marble top is generous and linear softened at the edges to invite gathering. Its surface catches light with a gentle glow while subtle brass inlays trace elegant lines across the stone. The base and legs in walnut bring warmth and structural grace their grain running cleanly in harmony with the table’s geometry.
Each material is doing exactly what it needs to do no more no less. Together they form a composition of calm weight and modernity. The table is proportioned for six to eight people comfortably and suits dining spaces that appreciate understated richness.
Every edition of Rood is made to order. The marble is hand selected and honed the walnut finished in oil and the brass left untreated to develop a soft patina over time. Craftsmanship is precise but never cold and every detail speaks quietly of intent.
