This 70s Danish dining table carries a quirky confidence and warm personality. Made from Oregon pine, its surface is broad and flat, with softly rounded edges. The legs are the most striking part. Expertly carved, they cross in a bold X-shape that grounds the table with strength. The timber brings a particular warmth and character to the design that feels earthy, giving off a golden, honey-like tone. The grain is long and straight with a gentle wave, and marked by subtle contrast. The table’s top can be extended on both sides to enjoy a larger example. A design that would not feel out of place in a woodland cottage tucked deep in the woods.
