Sheraton Style Dining Table with Faux Marble Top

About the Item

An early 20thC twin pedestal dining table in the Sheraton/Duncan Phyfe style. The table is unique in that the top has been expertly painted to resemble sea-green marble. The single leaf is also painted such that the colours and veins in the marble are contiguous. The twin pedestals are carved mahogany, the three legs of each terminate in lions paw feet and brass castors. Likely made in the United States circa 1920, and faux marbleized in the mid 20thC.
