About the Item
Stunning and impressive bronze dining table on an open pedestal base with red lacquer (wood) table top. This amazing piece was custom made for a bespoke residence in Chicago's Gold Coast. It was loosely fashioned after a famous Art Deco design done in 1940's France (potentially Jean Royere). The table was sourced by their Interior Designer.
The table is in very good condition. The bronze has a lovely patina. The lacquer on the table top was applied from the center of the table outward and features a sunburst type effect.
The lacquered top has a few minimal scratches and abrasions (as lacquer is prone to do. See close up images for any imperfections).
The table is 77 7/8" round x 29.25"H. Although it was meant to sit directly on the floor, there are bronze supports that can be placed at the base of the table if it is sitting on a carpet (so it doesn't sink into the carpet).
This table is a stunner and a one-of-a kind piece. If you have the space for a 78" round dining table, you won't find another one quite like it.
