About the Item

++ TABLE pushes resin to its limits, using its unique ability to manipulate light, color, and transparency to create volumes that seem almost ephemeral. Two plus-shaped legs interlock seamlessly with the top in a precise, hardware-free system—an elegant detail that defines both structure and identity. More than just functional, this table shapes a space through its strong, sculptural presence. Resin works by Laurids Gallèe are all about the interaction of material and light, delving into the question: how does light behave with geometries if one creates a simple architecture with resin? Each of the four pieces in this series explores a different answer, revealing the nuanced relationship between structure, transparency, and light. ++ Table was part of the performance Exhibition "The Theater of Things" the show transformed the gallery into a domestic stage — an ever-evolving space shaped by the creative voices of seven designers. Each night, one of them slept in the space. Each morning, a journalist, curator, or critic joined for coffee and conversation — exploring what it means to live among collectible pieces. Inspired by radical gestures like Gianni Pettena’s La Casa all’Elba and Joseph Beuys’ Coyote performance, the exhibition is both lived experience and open dialogue. Limited edition. Standard production time is approximately 8–9 weeks once current stock is sold out. One piece in stock and available for immediate delivery. For projects involving multiple units, production time may vary.
