Vintage Danish Brutalist Oak Dining Table, 1960s.

About the Item

Vintage Danish Brutalist Oak Dining Table, 1960s. Scandinavian Mid-Century modern rectangular dining room table in Nordic oak. Very likely designed by Henning Kjærnulf, Denmark (born Henry Kjærulff Rasmussen) as he often incorporated baroque details in many of his designs in the 50s and 60s. This table was originally purchased for a Danish inn in 1960 and was in use until 1989, it has been in storage since then. It features a rustic cabin or farmhouse-like feel with its solid wellbuilt and patinated oak structure. Sculptural carved X-shaped legs and thick table top all in solid oak. Also very well suited as a desk or large console table. Good original condition with patina consistent with age and use, please see photos.
