About the Item

A mahogany architect's/Pembroke table with drop leaves, an adjustable reading/writing slope, and a slide-out, baize-lined writing surface also with an adjustable reading/writing slope. Retaining the original brass bale handle. The width is 25.5" with the leaves down. The mahogany book stop on the wooden slope is replaced. Outstanding figuring and patina to the timber. Some marks, stains, and nicks on the top indicative of a surface that has not been recently re-polished. Also a repaired split in the top. See photos.
