About the Item

A fine cross banded table,  known as a pembroke table.  Circa 1825 Drop leaves open to form a near circular top, mahogany top cross banded and with ebony stringing. Single drawer to the front with original handle, standing on slight tapered legs. Ideal for use as a light use desk. Minor surface marks.  Recently re-polished by hand in our workshop Width when closed: 21 1/2"
