19thc Mahogany Pembroke Table Edwards & Roberts London w/ Decorative Painting
About the Item
This handsome Pembroke table has the original label from the prestigious firm of Edwards and Roberts, 1850s, London. We think by the construction it could have been made earlier, but sold by this firm. Made of fine mahogany with inlay, it features decorative painting throughout attributed to the style of Angelica Kauffman with stylistic cherubs and graceful flowers. Original brass pulls. Squared tapered legs ending in original castors. Sides flip out. One working drawer, one faux drawer at either end. Forty one and one half inches deep when open. See other measurements below.
