Beautiful Antique Thomas Chippendale Style Extending Hardwood Occasional Table
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely Thomas Chippendale style extending occasional table in very fine mahogany
This is a very well made, important looking occasional table. The mahogany is some of the finest I have seen, it has a wonderfully rich grain. The table is fret work carved on all base panels in the Chinese Chippendale manor. You have a large storage space to the bottom with one faux and one real drawer to the top
In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it may have normal age and use related patina marks here or there, I can see some light scratches on the left extension leaf and a few much lighter on the main top, I can have this professionally refinished for the cost price
