About the Item

Elegant Vicenza table from the late 19th century, made of solid cherry wood. Almost square in shape (116 x 98 cm), it has extensions that allow its length to be extended to 214 cm. Overall height 80 cm.The straight, slender legs are enriched by fine strammatura work and small turned inserts, with stylistic references that can be traced back to the late 19th-century production of local Schools of Art, such as UG16, and to a sober but decorative taste. The table is in good condition. There are slight localized cracks in the extensions, due to the natural physiological decline of the wood, but the structure is solid and functional. Authentic and versatile piece of furniture, suitable for classic or rustic interiors, thanks to the warm tone of cherry wood and harmonious proportions. Worldwide shipping upon request.
