Gorgeous Late 19th Century Drop Leaf Lamp or Occasional Table
About the Item
A gorgeous quality late 19th century fruitwood drop leaf lamp or occasional table, line inlaid, richly patinated and with beautiful marquetry panel detail throughout. The moulded top with four drop leaf serpentine, shaped leaves, all with intricate marquetry detail comprising of foliate, flowerhead, scroll and urn motif detail to the central reserves set within a line inlaid border. Raised over elegant line inlaid, square, tapering legs conjoined with shaped X stretcher with central finial detail, terminating on brass and ceramic casters.
