Late 17th - Early 18th Century Drop Leaf Table from England

About the Item

Late 17th - early 18th century oak table from England with two drop leaves. The top is primitive, and is made from four boards. The top follows down to a simple apron, which retains the original drawer. The table is supported on hand turned legs and gates, joined by simple stretchers and raised on hand turned feet. This is a wonderful example of an early English oak drop-leaf, with well earned patina and overall wear from age and frequent use. The table open measures 42.5 L x 33.25 D x 27.25 H.
