Swedish Blue and White Original Painted Drop-Leaf Table, circa 1820

About

This fantastic Swedish drop-leaf table (slagbord) is a once in a lifetime piece with a beautiful original painted top surface with vibrant waves of blue against a white background. The base retains the original white paint and the leaves drop down on both sides leaving a narrow center. There are two drawers and a single leg on each side that folds in leaving lots of leg room. The blue and white painted surface is original to the piece but has been cleaned and restored in some places.
