Vintage Danish teak drop leaf dining table 1950s
Beautiful and very elegant Mid-Century Modern dining table with two drop leaves. This design is very much in the style of Børge Mogensen.
Table top and leaves in teak veneer with edges in solid teak. Expressive grain pattern which is continued through to the leaves. Leaves are slightly tapered towards the ends. Thin round tapered legs in polished steel.
Very light and elegant design with just the right proportions and characteristics from the great Danish master architects from the 1950s. Also suitable as a free standing writing desk.
Each extension leaf is 51 cm long. The length of the table is 130 cm to 232 cm.
Very good condition. This table has been gently restored with respect for the original patina. Only few scratches on tabletop.
