About the Item

19th Century Dutch Colonial End Table is the perfect choice for adding an Old World touch to any room! Use it in an entryway, library, bedroom, family room or anywhere a nicely sized surface and storage are needed, with the addition of timeless, classical architecture. Rendered from indigenous old-growth oak, it features a solid plank top with a tailored panel apron underneath, on all four sides, with one short side being a full size drawer fitted with an intriguing hand-cast brass bale pull with guard. Flanking each apron atop the legs appear eight lions' heads in full relief. The legs are a marvelous combination of an orb form atop a faceted, tapered pillar set upon square plinth blocks that are connected around the perimeter with stretchers, finishing with turned urn-shaped feet. Literally designed to last for centuries, it is destined to become an instant family heirloom! Circa 1870s Measures 31H x 47W x 33.5D Available for pickup in the Dallas Design District, Dallas, Texas
