About the Item

Very handsome scrub top work table or Tavern table. Retaining all of the original surface and it's beautiful breadboard top. Made in both Pine and poplar, this table is very solid and ready for use. The Finish is absolutely beautiful retaining the majority of the red wash on the base and beautiful scrub top complete with original square nails. The drawer itself is dovetailed together and the handle in the front made from a Circa 1800 piece of rigging from a boat. Appears to be original. The legs have a very slight splay to them adding to the stance of this Survivor. A great piece of Americana found near the coast. Now on view at the Berkshire Galleries of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Contact me for additional images where any questions you may have.
