About the Item
Antique French Louis XV oval painted occasional table represents the essence of tailored elegance, with a subtle architectural design that includes an oval top with drawer beneath, and an oval shelf with flared and contoured apron all around, and four very subtly scrolled legs, all of which is accentuated by carved embellishments in the neoclassic theme augmenting the otherwise Louis XV overall effect. The carvings and molding are highlighted in off white to contrast with the taupe color of the rest of the piece, for a pleasing effect, and the size is such that it can be used just about anywhere, for a wide variety of purposes.
