Antique Renaissance Octagonal Painted Center Table, End Table
About the Item
Antique Renaissance octagonal painted center table ~ End table was fashioned from solid oak, and features carved detail from the surface to the teardrop feet! Octagonal top is lavished with gadrooned edges and foliate carvings, supported by a finely carved eight-section apron. The apron carvings alternate between floral and foliate designs with scrollwork and every other apron carved with a pair of cherubs and elaborate rosettes and foliate flourishes. Barley twist legs accented with rosettes and carved corbels are connected with barley twist stretchers to provide elegant support. The distressed, patinaed painted finish only adds to the charm, and highlights the wonderful detail!
