Truly medieval looking, little antique table in the Gothic style. This Gothic Revival table very much looks like a 17th or 18th century specimen. However, we are certain that this table was created in the early 1900s using very old oakwood. Possibly antique oak that once was part of a 17th or 18th century cabinet or large bench. It has given this rare table its extra ancient look and feel and that was the first thing that drew our attention. It really looks like it came straight out of a medieval Gothic castle with some roughness around the edges and an amazing patina. The Gothic church window-like openings at the bottom and the hand carved trefoil elements (which are Gothic symbols for the trinity) on all sides make this little table the perfect Gothic Revival antique. It is so heavy and strong that a grown man can stand on it and it won't even squeek. Because of its timeless Gothic style and its thickness and strength this table certainly had the 'genes' to become 400 years old.
