Art Deco Walnut and Spun Aluminum Step Back End Tables, A Pair

About the Item

A fine pair of Art Deco walnut with spun aluminum pulls end tables in the manner of Gilbert Rhode for Herman Miller. Circa 1930-40. The end tables feature a rounded corner molding (rather than a severe angular joinery), spun aluminum orb pulls and nicely figured walnut veneers. The secondary interior drawer wood is maple. The hardware features only on one side of the table. Good overall condition. Structurally sound and sturdy. Drawers work smoothly. There are some minor cosmetic blemishes from age and continued use. Some minor veneer losses toward the bases. Possible older refinishing or restoration. Each measures approximately 15" deep x 27" wide x 22" high.
