This ia a beautiful, Louis XVI period, Gueridon table
Exceptional Louis XVI period Gueridon table.
Elegant, refined, this pedestal table is the fruit of the work of Fidelys Schey.
Parisian cabinetmaker renowned for his quality work, Schey even obtained the JME brand (jurande des Maitres Ébénistes) for this wonderful pedestal table, which shows the quality of this little piece of furniture. You will find these stamps under the piece of furniture, at the intersection of the three legs.

These three feet support the fluted and rudenté column ending in small gilded bronze “Asparagus”.
This pretty mahogany piece of furniture has a Carrara marble top (restored) and surrounded by a gilded brass gallery.
Very good Antique condition, consistent with age and use.
