About the Item

A lovely, Fleur d Lis decorated mahogany Etagere with X style supports on casters. The craftsmanship is quite fine and well detailed. Belle Epoque, " the beautiful period" was a period in France which was known for economic growth and sucess. The period is known for the creation of the Eifel Tower as well as the Paris Opera and many noted and admired buildings and furnishings. Rich materials, dark sultry colors and great wealth mark this period. It is also the period of Linke and the French Salon.
