Handcrafted Artisan End Table, Walnut & Oak
About the Item
A new version, with a secret compartment, of our American black walnut hand-crafted end tables. These are constructed from the finest American black walnut with the inner traditionally dovetailed jointed drawer in prime English Oak. The hidden secret compartment is accessed behind the main drawer and slides out. The main upper box is detailed with exposed hand-cut dovetail jointing to the top surface. A light curve design is cut into and around the legs and follows along the facia.
Designed and handmade by our highly experienced craftspeople in England. Hand finished in stain-resistant durable non hazardous oils.
This is a contemporary modernist design with slight Scandinavian influences utilising traditional English furniture craftsmanship and fine timbers.
These can be made to your custom dimensions or a bespoke design if required.
We design bold and distinctive pieces of artisan handmade furniture. Our main objective is to combine the design alongside the natural beauty and properties of the raw materials used.
These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each design, maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring properties with our unique designs we continue to create distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These pieces are bench-made by hand in England, in very small numbers, bearing the telltale signs of a true craftsperson. Built to last a lifetime and beyond.
