A remarkable restored pair end tables by the Visionary Budji Layug, circa 1980. Large, mature stalks of cut bamboo cleverly constructed to execute an over-scale, almost whimsical Pagoda form with beautiful contrasting basketweave cane accents. Stout and exceptionally crafted; built like a battleship. Aged to absolute perfection. Design and quality that is beyond incredible. Serious organic jewelry designed to highlight a special room. Excellent restored condition. Professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the bamboo displays a rich range of color. Lacquer finish with fabulous depth and luster. All cane accents are intact and complete. The price listed is for the pair.
