Neoclassical American Empire Drop-Leaf Side Table in Mahogany, circa 1830-1840

About the Item

A neoclassical American Empire drop-leaf side table in mahogany, circa 1830-1840, Double front drawers with wood original knobs. The table is in flame mahogany and the secondary woods are in oak and pine. There are two drop leaves, when extended the table measures 35" inches wide x 19" inches deep. The top is solid mahogany and the base section is a mix of solid wood and veneer's. The base sits on ball/bun supports with original solid brass casters. The table measures 18 1/2" inches wide x 19" inches deep x 29" inches high. Note: There is an old minor small repair to the drawer front, as to be expected for a table of this vintage.
