Matched pair of Jacobean style oak joint stools, circa 1930's. Each joint stool with a triangular shaped top with canted corners, 3 turned and carved oak legs joined by stretcher bars. One joint stool bearing a Marshall Laird metal plaque. One or both joint stools made by Marshall Laird, noted furniture maker in the Pasadena, Los Angeles area in the 1920's and 1930's.
