About the Item

A rustic country Chinese Qing dynasty style elmwood side table from the early 20th century, with pierced pillar-shaped struts apron. This Chinese end table features a square top with central board and beveled edges. Originally conceived to be a stool, the clean lines and light finish showing a nicely aged patina, can be used as a side table, end table, occasional table or a stool. An occasional tables or stool for extra seating, use as plinth or pedestal for plants or art objects. Use next to a sofa, between chairs, next to a tub or shower.
