Three-Tier French Art Deco Side Table in Black Lacquer and Bookmatched Walnut
About the Item
This elegant skyscraper style side table was realized in France, circa 1935, at the height of Art Deco. It features three square tiers that recede downwards at angle from their squared off perimeters suggesting inverse pyramidal forms. The tops have been executed in book-matched walnut that connect via a rectangular support in black lacquer. With its clean lines and luxurious materials, this table would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. It has been restored to mint condition.
