About the Item
Awesome and unusual vintage end table, side table, or bedside table. Undoubtedly made in Mexico. It has a black painted finish, turned legs, a drawer, and an eight-piece signed tile insert in the top depicting a bullfight with both matador and bull. It is in wonderful vintage condition. The black painted finish has lots of age patina including nicks and dings making a beautiful distressed finish you can only get with age. The tile does have cracks but is still solidly set in the top and does not detract but enhances the look of the piece, circa mid-20th century.
Olé! Toro! Sorry, I can’t help myself. Talk about a one-of-a-kind piece. This is it. This vintage end table, side table, or bedside table will look fabulous in your Hacienda! It is comprised of a black painted tall table with four turned legs with stretchers from front to back and a single drawer. The painted finish has a perfect aged patina that only comes from age and use. And, the pull on the drawer is made from a 1957 Mexican Peso. Outstanding! The top has an off-centred tile insert with a hand painted bullfight scene depicting both matador and bull. The bullfight scene is signed by what we believe to be Zenón; however, we have yet to find information on the artist. The tiles do have some age and use cracks, but it only adds to its charm. This will look fabulous with many design stiles and has a myriad use. It could even be used in the kitchen or bar area with its tile top. We know you love it. Make it yours.

That’s right, this is a wonderful pair of oak modern to post-modern end tables with caning under the glass insert tops. They have recessed pedestal bases, horizontal trim strips around their center, and stunning wood grain! We have been told they are in the style of Lou Hodges, but we haven’t found any proof to substantiate that claim. No matter, they are going to be beautiful in your living room beside your sofa or loveseat, or maybe in your bedroom as nightstands.
